Any individual who has been working towards the betterment of society for a minimum of 2 years is eligible for nomination. Organizations and institutions can also nominate their employees and staff members.

Nominees can be recognized in categories such as Healthcare, Education, Business, CSR, Entertainment, Philanthropy, Human Rights, Social Enterprises, Social Work, Environment, Politics for People, Gender Equality, Sustainability, Interfaith, Women Empowerment, Innovation for Social Impact, Democracy, Sewa / Volunteerism, Entrepreneurship and News Media. The goal is to cover a broad spectrum of developmental challenges.

An esteemed jury panel will review all accepted nominations and select the winners from each category based on their outstanding contributions to the development sector.

The announcement of the awardees will be made 2-3 months prior to the Gala Ceremony. All awardees will receive invitations to the ceremony.
